"In the territory of Calascibetta, there are several pre- and proto-historic necropolises, hundreds of tombs dug into the limestone rock, some of which are isolated, while others are gathered in very numerous groups. The largest is that of Realmese, in the San Giuseppe district, which can be dated back to the Bronze Age and can be easily visited. Not far from this is the Malpasso area, where there are some underground tombs dating back to the Copper Age and pertinent to a civilization that was precisely defined as Malpasso."
