La Perciata

An archaeologically relevant site characterized by the presence of a perforated rocky spire, known as "la Perciata", has been studied by Arch. Giunta. It has been hypothesized that it functions as a solstitial astronomical instrument.

"Necessary Equipment: Comfortable clothing suitable for the season, a backpack, hiking shoes, and a 1.5-liter water bottle.
Recommended Equipment: A rain cape, binoculars, a camera, and hiking poles."

It can be reached from the Strada della Perciata between the SS 121 and the SP 61.
