A long, disused railway stretch, part of the narrow-gauge Nicosia-Caltagirone line. The section between Dittaino and Leonforte in particular features a series of tunnels and bridges built to overcome the rugged terrain. Among the highlights is the Ponte delle Dodici Luci (Bridge of the Twelve Arches) between Assoro and Leonforte. The route can be travelled on foot as well as by MTB and E-Bike.
