East of Assoro, along the provincial road that leads from the town to the hamlet of San Giorgio, the Piano di Murra is a landscape feature of great value. Enriched by the waters of the Buffa spring, the area is made green by citrus groves and small vineyards and is home to the house that was the atelier of the painter Elio Romano, now open to visitors by appointment and transformed into a B&B and Museum.
