E-bike Tour: Assoro–Leonforte, sulphur and water

The route begins at Dittaino station, from where we will reach the Vodi and Bambinello mines. We will start the climb along the old Dittaino-Assoro-Leonforte mountain railway, which winds up the slopes below the ancient village of Assoro. Once in the village, we will pedal through the characteristic alleyways of the Assoro old town until we reach the ruins of the castle; from here we will pick up the old railway track again heading towards Leonforte, where we will admire Palazzo Branciforti, the Fountain of the Nymphs and the majestic Granfonte. Immersed in the landscape, we will return to our starting point.
