E-bike Tour: Grottascura and the Enchanted Stones

A 34 km loop e-bike tour in the Rossomanno-Grottascura-Bellia reserve from Valguarnera, among the Enchanted Stones (Pupi Ballerini) and the village's Casa Museo.

Our two wheels will lead us along the trails of the Rossomanno-Grottascura-Bellia Nature Reserve, the green lung of the Erei Mountains. We will set off from Valguarnera Caropepe and enter the Reserve. A fun and flowing sandy stretch will take us to one of the reserve's most curious geological features, 'the Enchanted Stones or Dancing Puppets': striking natural formations up to 3 metres tall that fuel local legends of people petrified by some arcane spell. In Valguarnera we will visit the 'Casa Museo' (House Museum), a place that will give us the chance to take a journey through time.

Requirements & gear

Recommended minimum age 10 years, or in any case a height of over 150 cm. Child seats available for children up to 20 kg. Comfortable clothing and trainers. All our excursions are accompanied by a certified environmental and hiking guide (A.I.G.A.E.)

Getting there & accessibility

Reachable by bicycle, by car/motorbike, by taxi/shuttle. The meeting point will be agreed upon at the time of booking.
